Affordable Spray Foam Insulation and Coating was founded in Peoria, AZ in response to rising utility costs, the rapid pace of homebuilding in the Phoenix area and the need to build homes more energy efficient. With so many people moving to Arizona, can the utility companies keep up with demand? While the price of electricity has risen almost every year, little has been done to help homeowners reduce their electric bills without altering their level of comfort and everyday living. While attending the West Coast Green Conference in San Francisco, the owner, Jason, was able to attend numerous lectures and speak with various experts on building energy efficient homes – especially in Phoenix. It was determined that the best way for homeowners to drastically reduce their electric and gas bills was to design and build a home that was properly insulated with spray foam. A home that is insulated with spray foam uses an average of 40% less energy than a home insulated with traditional fiberglass. After further research, Jason decided to create a new business, separate from his construction company that specialized specifically in spray foam insulation.
Jason is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago where he majored in Psychology and Business Management. He also obtained an M.B.A. from DePaul University, also in Chicago. With over 15 years of experience in carpentry, remodeling and building, Jason is very knowledgeable in building energy efficient homes. He has over 40 hours of classroom training in spray foam technology and keeps abreast of the latest products and advancements in spray foam. By combining these skills, knowledge and experience, he can help customers analyze the financial return they receive on service plus give general renovation & construction advice. Jason also meets with various builders, code officials and inspectors to discuss ways of building better homes that consume less energy.
